Monarch 9855 RFID Tabletop bar
code Printer
The Monarch 9855 RFID Tabletop Bar Code Printer is specially
designed to write to RFID chips embedded in thermal direct
or thermal transfer bar code labels. The printer tests the
chip, writes to the chip, then prints the human readable and
bar code data.
Monarch has taken its best-in-class Monarch® 9855TM Tabletop
Bar Code Printer and enhanced it to create the 9855TM RFID
Tabletop Bar Code Printer. Specifically engineered for the
retail supply chain environment, the Monarch 9855 RFID Printer
can help you track and move merchandise quickly through YOUR
supply chain using RFID technology! The 9855 RFID Printer
offers complete verification of RFID data and overstrikes
bad labels to alert you right away if the RFID data cannot
be encoded.
Benefits of RFID
- Tags can be read without contact and/or line-of-sight
- RFID readers can differentiate and read multiple items
simultaneously
- RFID tags can be updated with new information as items
pass through the supply chain (read/write)
These capabilities give you the potential for cost savings
across many supply chain applications:
- Reduce safety stock inventory requirements
- Reduce labor requirements (receiving, inventory, etc.)
- Improve inventory “shrink” problems
- Improve visibility of assets, as they move through the
supply chain.
In addition to its RFID capabilities, the Monarch® easy-to-use
9855 RFID Tabletop printer offers:
- Full bar code print capability on RFID labels
- Super fast 150 MHz processor and print speeds up to 12
IPS for quick printing
- 9.4” OD supply rolls and 600-meter ribbons require
31% fewer stops to reload
- Easy, fast, intuitive supply loading decreases downtime.
Monarch offers a wide array of the latest in connectivity
technology. Universal Serial Bus (USB), parallel and serial
ports all come standard with the 9855 RFID Tabletop Bar Code
Printer. Other connectivity options include Twinax/coax and
Dual Wireless 802.11b/Wired Ethernet network interface card.
This innovative wireless interface card allows you to run
your printers on a wireless network, with the ability to change
to a wired connection by switching connection to the ethernet
port while retaining the IP address and not losing the session,
enhancing your productivity.
